MaryAnn E. Flint, 85, of Janesville passed away Saturday, June 21,2014 at St. Elizabeth Manor in Footville. MaryAnn was born in Rock Township, Rock County, WI on December 3, 1928, one of 15 children of Frank and Anna (Lenz) Bladorn. She grew up on the family farm in Rock Township. She married Louis H. Flint on February 10, 1951. She was employed by Parker Pen Company and then for 30 years by General Motors retiring in 1979. She enjoyed being a very active member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. MaryAnn had a love for gardening, especially flowers and pink was her favorite colored flower.
She is survived by one brother, LaVerne Bladorn and two sisters, Erma Schultz and Lois (Jack) Brennan all of Janesville along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Flint on August 25, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents along with nine brothers, Leroy, George, Harold, William, Donald, Raymond, Edward, Francis and Fred Bladorn and two sisters, Esther Lanphere and Charlotte Henthorne.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Milton Lawns Memorial Park Chapel, 2200 Milton Avenue, Janesville. Rev. Bruce Gray will officiate. Burial will follow in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the Milton Lawns Chapel from 10 a.m. until the time of services Thursday. The family is being assisted by Henke-Clarson Funeral Home.
